Upcoming Exhibitions for 2008
**Pink & Bent ---May 21-June 28----Opening May 20th 6-8 pm-----Leslie/Lohman Gallery---NY, NY ------ Pink & Bent is an exhibition of international artwork by queer women. The goal of this art show is to present audiences with an artistic experience that depicts the many threads that sew us together as a community. As curators of Pink & Bent we hope to enlighten audiences about the different aspects of being a queer woman within the context of artistic expression and freedom. We look to art with the goal of defining terms such as "queer" through the mediums of photography, painting, drawing and sculpture to describe visually what is too complicated to define through the confines and perimeters of language.

Point Blank Exhibitions
Point Blank photo collective is a group of women photographers who came together to merge
and solidify creative resources to advance personal work and create a collaborative environment.
We are committed to documenting the community in which we live and the surroundings we call
home. Lack of access for queer people and women has been and continues to be a factor that limits the
scope of audiences and work around us. We are artists who are working to bring photogaphy back
to the people and places that inspire us.
